HOSNAP! Is that a BACKGROUND?! Now I remember why I don't do those often. I had a lot of fun with the lighting on this one. I took LOADS of liberties with it. Cause you know, that's an awful lot of light for one little candle, the lamp should have a shadow on the blinds, and the light should hit her face differently when the source is slightly behind her, etc. Time for moar practice.
Hey  this is a present for you! *grins*Anywho, the ref pic for the pose is from the 2008 SI swimsuit edition. I layered various cosplays from my closet to figure out what to do with the fabric. The blinds you did in the background are reflective in nature and there may be some truth in the lighting of your pic. Based on my experience in Japan in Matsuyama. My friends and I were entertained in similar suroundings such as the one in your pic. The blinds were made of bamboo which has a highly polished glossy surface!!

The colors are superb, and Kagura is drawn so elegantly. The light effect is amazing, I'm not technical when it comes to drawing, but I love what I see. Very nice!!!
You referenced SI swimsuit 08? Interesting! I've seen the issue(and calender) at work often. But I can't clearly recall who's pose that is. I'll take a wild guess and say it's one of my favorites: Danica Patrick or Marisa Miller.
